This policy applies to our website and to ThemeVix software you install on your own WordPress site. It does not replace the privacy policy you must publish on your store or website when you use our plugins with your visitors.

Important: ThemeVix WordPress.org plugins do not send your store or site data to ThemeVix servers for analytics, licensing phone-home, or remote processing. Data stays on your WordPress installation unless you configure external integrations.

4. Information we collect on themevix.com

4.1 Information you provide

We may collect information you voluntarily submit, including:

  • Name and email address (contact forms, support requests, newsletter signup if offered)
  • Account registration details (username, email, billing information for purchases)
  • Order and payment-related information processed through our ecommerce or payment provider

4.2 Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect:

  • The data shown in the comment form (typically name, email, and comment text)
  • The visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam and abuse

After comment approval, your comment and submitted name may be visible to the public. Your email address is not published.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you use Gravatar. If you use Gravatar and your comment is approved, your Gravatar profile picture may appear next to your comment.

Comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service (for example Akismet, if enabled on our site).

4.3 Media uploads

If you upload images to our website (for example in comments or support areas), avoid uploading images with embedded EXIF GPS location data. Visitors may be able to download and extract location data from images on the website.

4.4 Account and login data

If you register on themevix.com:

14. ThemeVix WordPress plugins and themes (general)

This section applies to all ThemeVix plugins and themes, including current and future releases (for example ThemeVix AI Chat, ThemeVix Direct Chat Button, ElementStack, Post Blog, and others).

14.1 Self-hosted software

ThemeVix plugins and themes run on your WordPress site. Unless a specific product page states otherwise:

  • Plugin and theme data is stored in your WordPress database, media library, and server files
  • ThemeVix does not collect or store your site visitor or customer data on ThemeVix-owned servers through standard WordPress.org plugin distributions
  • ThemeVix does not operate remote usage telemetry or licensing phone-home for standard WordPress.org distributions

14.2 Site owner responsibility

If you install any ThemeVix plugin or theme, you are responsible for:

  • Publishing an accurate privacy policy and cookie notice on your website
  • Obtaining consent where required before collecting personal data
  • Explaining to your visitors how chat, messaging, AI, CRM, and other features process data
  • Complying with applicable privacy laws (for example GDPR, CCPA, and local ecommerce rules)

14.3 Data stored on your site (typical)

Depending on the product and your settings, ThemeVix software on your site may store:

  • Plugin settings and encrypted API keys or OAuth tokens
  • Admin configuration and appearance preferences
  • Content created through the plugin (for example chat logs, leads, or widget settings)
  • Files uploaded through plugin features (for example knowledge-base documents)

Data remains on your server unless you configure features that send data elsewhere.

14.4 Third-party services (only when you enable them)

Some ThemeVix plugins can connect to third-party services only after you configure them, such as:

  • AI providers
  • Messaging platforms
  • CRM and email marketing tools
  • Webhooks and automation services
  • Font or CDN services

ThemeVix does not operate these services. Your use is governed by each provider’s terms and privacy policy. You choose which services to enable and are responsible for disclosing them to your users.

15. ThemeVix AI Chat — privacy details

If you use ThemeVix AI Chat on your WordPress/WooCommerce site, the following applies.

15.1 Data stored locally on your site

The plugin may store:

  • Chat messages and conversation metadata
  • Optional visitor name and email (when collected)
  • Session identifiers and security binding data
  • Guest wishlist product IDs (cookie) and logged-in wishlist data (user meta)
  • Knowledge-base uploads in the WordPress media library
  • Plugin settings, including encrypted API keys

15.4 Guest order lookup

If enabled, visitors may look up WooCommerce orders by providing an order number and matching billing email. Lookups are rate-limited. You must disclose this in your store privacy policy.

15.5 Uninstall

Deleting the plugin removes its settings, custom database tables, knowledge-base uploads, wishlist user meta, and related transients from your WordPress site (subject to your backups and hosting configuration).

16. ThemeVix Direct Chat Button — privacy details

If you use ThemeVix Direct Chat Button (or similar messaging link plugins):

  • The plugin typically adds buttons or links that open third-party chat apps (for example WhatsApp)
  • Conversations happen on the third-party platform, not on ThemeVix servers
  • ThemeVix does not receive or store those conversation contents unless a separate integration is configured
  • You are responsible for telling visitors how they can contact you and how those platforms handle their data

17. Other ThemeVix plugins and themes

For ElementStack, Post Blog, themes, and future ThemeVix products:

  • Review each product’s documentation and readme for feature-specific data handling
  • Optional integrations (for example page builders, fonts, or external APIs) send data only when enabled
  • This Privacy Policy will be updated when new products introduce materially different data practices
